Green Energy Smoothie

A super way to start your day or a great meal replacement rich in healthy omegas, vegan protein and natural sweetness. Who says green smoothies have to be green?  Did you know only 1 quart a day of a yummy green smoothie is significantly keep you healthier, happier and you may even lose a few pounds while you gain a ton of energy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of one of these liquid (spring ), coconut water, almond milk, coconut milk or cashew milk
  • 2 bunches organic kale
  • ½ – 1 frozen banana (or 1/2 avocado)
  • ½ – 1 cup *blueberries or other berries you have handy
  • 2-3 organic pitted dates
  • 2 Tbsp. chia or flax seeds
  • 1 scoop of doTERRA V-Shake Vegan protein powder (optional)
  • Ice

Directions:

Pour liquid into blender a high speed blender. Blend until smooth. I recommend to grind your chia or flax seed if you are not going to drink your smoothie right away, otherwise you will end up with chia pudding!

* Blueberries change the color from green to purple which you (or your kids) might prefer.
