Healthy Mimosa

I don’t believe in added sugar and I don’t like alcohol. I know both are not good to promote healthy living. But I do love the taste of Mimosas. With Mother’s Day around the corner, and my “Eat Your Oils” campaign in full-swing, I have a great fake-out Mimosa recipe that incorporates Wild Orange Essential Oil. The orange oil provides so much as far as health benefits are concerned.

Wile Orange essential oil alleviates anxiety, anger, depression and certain bodily inflammations. This type of oil can also promote menstruation, lactation, digestive juices, bile, hormones and enzymes. So, yes, it is extremely good for you and tastes good too.

Now, on to the free recipe;  Fake-Out, Healthy Mimosa (makes 1 serving)

4 ounces of pure, organic orange juice

8 ounces sparkling water

2 drops Wild Orange Essential oil Lemon Zest (about 1/8 tsp.)

1 cup crushed ice

To make: Pour ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake.  Pour over crushed ice in a chilled wine glass and enjoy your healthy mimosa.
