Goodbye Nausea!
With the “Eat Your Oils” campaign, I am focused on helping you heal with food. April is almost over, but it still is IBS Awareness month. With IBS, a main symptom is nausea. Forget the OTC stuff, ginger works just as well! Now, if your doc has prescribed the OTC stuff, ignore what I just said. Continue what he or she prescribed but DO ask about using ginger.
Health care professionals often recommend ginger to help prevent or treat nausea and vomiting from motion sickness, pregnancy, and cancer chemotherapy. It is also used to treat mild stomach upset, to reduce pain of osteoarthritis, and may even be used in heart disease. As an essential oil, the impact of ginger is just as amazing and the best part is you can cook with it! Some people add ginger oil or ginger-oil based blends to water and tea, which is great. But I want to share a free recipe with you that allows you to truly eat your oils!
