Holiday Ginger ‘Snaps’ Recipe – Ginger Pecans

Ginger Pecans

A great holiday treat that tastes like a ginger snap… only healthier!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1lb. pecans soaked (24 hrs, rinsed every 8hrs) and drained
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. blackstrap molasses
  • 1 tsp. local raw honey or coconut nectar
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. sea salt

DIRECTIONS

  • Place all ingredients, except pecans in Vita-Mix and blend until smooth.
  • Toss mixture over pecans and coat well.
  • Place on dehydrator trays and dehydrate at 105 degrees for approximately 36-48 hours until pecans are crunchy.
