Holiday Ginger ‘Snaps’ Recipe – Ginger Pecans
Ginger Pecans
A great holiday treat that tastes like a ginger snap… only healthier!
INGREDIENTS
- 1lb. pecans soaked (24 hrs, rinsed every 8hrs) and drained
- 2 Tbsp. fresh ginger
- 2 Tbsp. blackstrap molasses
- 1 tsp. local raw honey or coconut nectar
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- ½ tsp. sea salt
DIRECTIONS
- Place all ingredients, except pecans in Vita-Mix and blend until smooth.
- Toss mixture over pecans and coat well.
- Place on dehydrator trays and dehydrate at 105 degrees for approximately 36-48 hours until pecans are crunchy.
