I created a Sugar-Free Smoothie so you can hit the ground running without running out of gas.

There is no easier way I have found to balance blood sugar first thing in the morning, especially when I am running out the door, than to drink a green smoothie that has everything I need: protein, healthy fats and fiber. And it has got to tickle my taste buds going down.

I call this green smoothie “Grounded Smoothie” because it does just that. It stabilizes my blood sugar. Yippee. For me, a super busy women, with over focused ADHD, I don’t want to deal with those crazy sugar spikes, you know, the rollercoaster ride of highs then lows that sugar gives us from breakfast that are considered “fast, healthy food”. 

By the way, this makes an amazing lunch option as well!

The grounding effect from this smoothie leave me with a happy brain and content belly, I know you will feel the same way too!

Grounded Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk (I use almond milk)
  • 1-2 handfuls of spinach
  • 1 serving doTERRA V-Shake Vegan protein 
  • 1 tsp. of raw cacao
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 3 Brazil nuts
  • 2 pitted date or 1 tsp. local raw honey
  • sprinkle cinnamon
  • handful of ice cubes

Directions: Blend in high-speed blender. Enjoy!
